The economy took a turn for the worst and the residential landscape maintenance business slowed to a halt. They were losing money so Tim had to temporarily take a paying position at the L.A. Times in California with the dream of returning when business picked back up. Years later Michael moved on because the business had become too much for him. Tim had a little money set aside and he decided Greencare was worth another shot. Tim contacted his good friend John Reese who was currently a micro Biology major pursuing his masters at UNLV to see if he was interested in coming aboard. It made sense because John was working part time engineering pools at the now former Sundance pools and spas. John was extremely talented and knew the industry well so he would be an asset to Greencare. Tim offered to be 50/50 partners in a company that was making zero money and was 20k in debt. They had a logo and dream, that’s it. John agreed and they began their journey. Over the last 15 years through the boom and the bust John and Tim have built Greencare into a company that no longer does residential maintenance. Greencare builds new custom pools, spas, patio covers & landscaping with the goal of creating clients dreams.
Our experience has mounted by completing over (ticker on top – happy clients) projects and counting including pools, spas, BBQs, full outdoor kitchens, synthetic turf, putting greens, ponds, fire & water features, pavebricks and custom concrete decks around pools. Greencare moved into the construction side with the goal to take their clients dreams and turn them into reality. Greencare has grown over the years and supports a long list of management staff, superior designers, talented installers and even a couple interns from the UNLV landscape architecture program. Greencares continued goal is to strive to be just a little bit better every day. It’s been 15 years of fighting to maintain that philosophy so we feel at this point we are proud to say we are the best in the industry. But… we will be just a little bit better tomorrow.
